where you buy the wood for make a wood bow and hornbow
is the wood very cheap or not? in my city wood market all wood has cuted 2cm thickness,but luckly a member work on wood business, here can buy the birch,elm,and maple.
for the tradition , these hornbowyer buy the green tree at spring or summer,but the wood cut at autumn and winter, all the tree can not allow i cut it because the law,
it is a trouble all my forum can not buy the material, but the sinew and bladders very easy, i am not decide buy the horn form Philippines, in china the horn more cheap but quality......

ps , i has put the elm to water more than 3 month and dry about one month ,the alm out layer has turn black and decay, i break the elm wood ,form the place of breaked, i saw so many small apeture(pipeline), the wood annual ring turn to separate , the breaked place liked a saw cuted so trimly

Jiao; You should buy a good book on woodworking. There is a separate art of drying wood. It is somewhat difficult to understand, like making wine.
