Ottoman flight bow - core form
- Hello fellows
I want to try to make Ottoman flight bow. this is my form. I need to make corrections somewhere? tree is 17 mm thick, acer tataricum. I would appreciate any comments, criticisms, and help.

How are you planning to splice the upper and lower halves?
I'm far from an expert but I think it looks good so far!

if I understand correctly your question - with V-splice in the handle. now clamped with clamps two parts for better visualization.

I like that you've chosen to use more traditional and older method. Is this pattern from some bulgarian museum? Also what is dimension of tm saplings?
I guess you didn't use forms but it looks good to me. Wish you good luck.

Zoran, I do not have information about the authentic horn bow in Bulgarian museums. I use with forms, and steam bending. know that effective flight bow is very delicate and difficult bow. but I must try.
