First Turkish Bow Plans
Hi guys these are my plans for the first turkish bow i'll be attempting. I just want to make sure I have the proportions right for a 48 incher before I go ahead and cut the forms out. Let me know what you guys think about the shape I drew and the lengths designated. Thanks.
I suggest to make the kasans a little shorter, maybe 6.5-7 inches for a less stressed bow (safer if the first).

So if I were to take 1.5 eaches off of each Kasan, I'm assuming I would gain that length in the Sal sections? Which would give me 12.5 Sals and 6.5 inch Kasans. is that correct?
I was also wondering if the Sal-Kasan transition was too sharp of an angle, and if the the angle on the Kasan-Tip bend was sharp enough.
Thanks for the help Adam.

Yes, kasan shorter - sal longer. The angles are OK, but the kasan/sal connection is of course more round (larger radius).
