Hi guys! Here I've plan the new Turkish bow (with longer sal section) 48 inch long. Once I found a good acacia trunk & couldn't left it not to be used for bow, cause it was very clear from defects. So here you can see laths steamed & bent on forms.

the back one has a quite sharp sal-kassan angle
it will rather look like a crab bow if you dont open the angle a litte during manufacture.

Yeah! Native american but feels good in KZ & Central Asia too!

They look much less agressive, when doing the forms. Somehow, when you attach the parts the curve tends to look much more agressive.
I think this is not unlike the other boyers paradox:
The tree is much more stright when vertical, but once it is horisontal on the groung it just is much more curly.
