I am still not clear as to his meaning of the topic of the paper. Only possibly three countries have bow or arrow makers of this status, Korea, China and Japan? There are many other countries represented at WTAF.
Jack, I think that [ intangible cultural asset ] is definitly wrong expression,
it's a national approval system for traditional culture in korea,
like a horn bow makers who authorized by Cultural Heritage Administration. we called them [intangible cultural asset], 무형문화재
lexically, it means his skills and knowledges...
simply, it means master artisan or meister who mastered about traditional cultures. (making something, spiritual ceremony, traditional arts...)
I can't sure what exactly they want..

Thanks Mechwar; I completely understand the concept of the national approval system. What I do not understand is how someone from, say, the USA can write on such a topic when we do not have that system? WTAF OC are very smart people so there must be an intended meaning.
