Looks very good, congratulations!

Heavy tips decrease the bow efficiency. If I were you, I would cut the tips 2,5 - 3 cm over the knocks.
Kyudohund
thank you for advice, nokyay.

the photo was done during tillering! i prefer to cut and shape tipends when tiller is good.

thanks

Very very nice!! Impressive!

Will you do some flight-shooting with this bow? - or some chrono-tests?
scemdonmez
What kind paint do you use?
You are master, congrats.

Thank you all!

Kvilio: this is a target-bow and i am a target-shooter. I built a flight-bow i will brace in July (hope it will not break, has 2 small failings in wooden part and one in horn). Not done chrono until now, have none. But it feels pretty fast.
Cem: its Acryl-painting in thin layers, bright translucent colours, if you don?t mix it with white. Finished with 2 layers varnish. Somewhen (perhaps in pension) i will try with eggwhite like Adam discribes.
Francesco: 430gramm, grip is cornell-cherry -> heavier than water! Arms at widest part 35mm (including leather-cover, i use thicker one from deer for side protection).

So far
Peter
