Crimean Tartar 55lbs@28
Here is my new Crimean Tartar bow 55lbs @28. 62lbs @31.
140cm ntn , 540 gramms ,the limbs are 32 mm wide. The limbs and grip are made from Ash and the tips are Sycamore. Used Water Buffalo horn and deer sinew with hide glue. The bow was seasoned for 6 months in a pretzel shape. This is my first attempt to build a Tartar bow and as you can see the design of the grip is not authentic but turned out to be really comfy. The bracing height is "6 . The string is Dacron B50. I used camel bone for the string bridges.
Please feel free to comment.
