I bought this Japanese tool from Dictum in Germany, cost 31 euro.
Very exact teeth 1,2 mm high, 6 teeth pr cm. Overall size 130x 70 x2 mm.
Very stiff and solid.

I have the other version of this. It's hard to sharpen, but only marginally dulls slower than e.g. the cabinet scrapers.
The toothing irons that they have do a better job, they're also cheaper. That is, unless you really think matching grooves are the way to go.

is there any requirement about the steel type to make this kind of scrapper? I'm thinking to make it with laser cut.. but the shop don't specified the material they use, only mention steel and stainless steel (up to 6mm).. is it need to heat threat/hardened?
Springsteel, like the stuff that they use on scrapers. 1,6mm is good.

Has anyone else seen the cross sections of Europe composite crossbow laths where multiple pieces of horn are matching-grooved and fitted together like a jigsaw puzzle? Since there are several vertically aligned horn strips in the core and a wooden belly, that is a lot of grooves to match.
this is my plan for convex/concave scraper, the metal will be cut from 1.5-2mm stainless steel AISI403 using laser-cut..the measurement is estimated from Björn's scraper photo..
