Archery foundation at Handong Global University
At HGU, I teach both academic English and also a Korean history class (in English--it's mainly intended for international students, but half of my students are Korean nationals). This past Friday, as we are studying the Three Kingdoms period of Korea (where lots of bows 'n arrows were used), I gave an archery demonstration and let students shoot bows. We don't have 145m to work with (at this point), so I set up a bag target (filled with old students' papers) and we shot at close range. The students had a great time, and many stayed after class to do more shooting.
