Greetings all fellow archers!!!

I fell in love with this forum once a saw it! Great stuff guys!
I?m a beginner in archery and I pledge allegiance to the Asian techniques. In other words my thumb is more swollen then ever? I have a Kaffka bow (if you ever have heard of him) and think it is a Crimean Tartar. What I really wanted to ask you guys was that do you have any hints or anything on how I should soot, train, which arrows to use and anything you would tell a beginner.

Walk in peace brothers!

Welcome, Good Knight. (Name?)

Everybody will have advice for you. It will all be different. But with a name like yours, that should not be a great challenge.

My advice: do a little at a time and use a light bow. Just shoot at an empty plastic bottle 10 metres away from you on the ground. When you have started to get the arrows going near it, change something (walk about, stand on one leg and hop, shut your eyes before shooting.) Ability comes through flexibility. Western archery is about hitting through doing the same thing over and again. Asian archery is about hitting even though you keep changing things.
