Kassai Lajos in Greece

We are happy to inform you that Kassai Lajos will be part of the opening ceremony of the 2006 European Archery Outdoor Target Championships
(http://www.toxovolia.org/athens2006/index.htm) that will take place in Athens, Greece 12/09/06.

There will be a seminar on horseback archery the following day, 13/09/06, in the Olympic Equestrian venue.

We hope with this event to boost interest on traditional horsebabk archery in Greece.

I will inform you on the progress.

Greetings to All,

the Hungarian Horseback archery master Kassai Lajos did in fact open the European Archery Championship ceremony in Athens, in full uniform !

The following day he gave a seminar with participation from both the athletic teams and traditional archers, and for the last days of his visit he was kind enough to give private training to our small team of Greek Horseback archers!

This visit, more or less, put the founding stone on the Greek Kassai School of Horseback Archery and we hope to visit his valley in Hungary for more training.
