Any Bowyers advice Re: making a Tatar Bow?
I would like to build a Tatar bow.
First I would like to know what the difference in desigh is between a Turkish War Bow and a Tatar Bow.
Can the Crescent shape be made with glass rather than horn?
I really would like to make one out of fiber glass for my first one rather than spend money on horn only to bust it.
The completed bow will be a gift to my brother in-law Murat in Tobolsk Siberia as a reintroduction to the way of the bow so I want it to be nice.
I would really appreciate any advice for a total novice.
