Tibetan Traditional Archery Competition
Please pencil into your diaries that ATARN is sponsoring a Tibetan traditional archery competition.
Date: June 11-12, 2005.
Place: Qinghai Province, Ledu County, People's Republic of China.

Nearest airport: Qinghai Xining （西宁）.
Nearby attractions: Qinghai Lake wildlife (especially birds), Kumbum Monastery.
There are no special travel arrangements other than transport to the villages where the competition would take place. But if anyone wants to come to watch/shoot at their own expense, they are warmly welcome.
The competition is a simple accuracy contest between teams at a range of around 120 metres. The biggest challenge is the quantity of food and alcohol you are required to take!
