mini yumi...
i am a desperate man at the moment, trying to kill some time before my materials for a Turkish bow arrives. Therefore i thought that it might just be a good idea to make a different kind of bow vile I wait.
my mini yumi meashures 13 3/4" and draws 4.5" at approximately 1#
actually shoots quite well, will take a few shoots at greater lengths soon.
Arrows made of solid bamboo with bottle cap arrowheads and paper fletching.

Until high school I did same bows like you, I was shoot to the yong girls leg :-P, today Im bowyer!! Your bow is better than mine:^)

Ok, I have made some bows too, when I was in high school. But I have used brass for the bow and toothpicks for arrows.

I've got a bambo crossbow, probably 5-10# at 1dm. I shoot bamboo shiskabob skewers and let me tell you, it would penetrate human flesh!
