drying time for deer sinew
Hi everyone,I would like to know what would be the ideal time for drying fresh deer sinew before it would be usable for bowmaking?the deer was killed this morning,any information would be really appericiated.Thanks
Re Sinew, Mr Singh:you can start drying right now.Just hang it where the air can circulate or as I do it I lay a bunch on some chicken wire and let a fan blow on it.Dry in no time and preserved forever as long as you keep it dry . It's dry when it is hard and translucent
