Do not worry about breaking; but be careful about twisting and the string coming off. SKB is not very stable.
thanks stephen, about skb twisting and the string coming off, now in china forums i see more than 20-30 members use skb bows, it has many edition i see three of it, i buy a new edition skb, more members use skb more than one year has no twisting and the string coming off, a lot skb has a few small cranny and knurr and scaur, but it not need worry it will break

Can you glue a piece of thin wood on the belly of the tips to help stabilize it during the draw and prevent it from unstringing? I think this would create a semi or static tips. Any suggestions? Thanks
Hi Jiao
Two years ago we had really cold winter here in Poland, our record is shooting outdoor in -27C. We had different bows and all of them survived :)

bede said add a wood handel to skb will let the bow has no handel shake, it has some trouble:
1.the cere on the bow surface, how remove it ? for sure the cere let the glue unsuccessfully, maybe the acetone works well , but it will solve the glue of the skb bow?
2, what glue and wood for the handel? the gule a+b works well? all wood works well?
now i use the rubber handel so comfortable and i can control the handel shake for some good shoot

If I have understood your questions correctly, you are asking me how to add some wood to your bow? I would first go about it by sanding the finish off of the surfaces I wanted to glue--using sandpaper. Then, I would clean off the surfaces with acetone?using an old rag?after that I would glue the wood using smooth-on epoxy. After the epoxy has settled, I would then sand the residual glue from the surface and use some spray on polyurethane finish on the areas where I glued the new wood pieces. The wood choice for riser could be any type of hardwood?and the wood for limb tips would have to be straight grain or straight growth rings. Any information from more experienced bow builders on this forum would be greatly appreciated?I have made laminated longbows before?BUT, I am still a novice. I wish you well.
thanks ,
