I think that the problem is with what do you mean by cossac in 13-14th century. Did you write about Ukrainian Cossack? Theyr history was started a bit later.

Tere are some things excavated from the battlefield in Beresteczko, 17-th century. I my view Ukrainian Cossack used a lot of Crimean Tatar archery equipment because of contact and equipment made in Poland, Russia and Turkey.
Interesting fact is a one of Ukr. Cossack military rank called "hetman sahajdaczny" (Polish transcription)
hetman - commander-in-chief of the Polish and Ukrainian Cossack army in 16-18th century
sahajdak (sahajdaczny) - is from Turkish sadak (in Poland sajdak) - bow & arrow case

Its generally considered that the people called later "cossack" were living on Don and in Ukraine as early as in 13. cent. But I m not history expert.
Better is to ask what is the earliest bow artifact, thought to be "cossack" bow.

Do you have the materials about Beresteczko artifacts? There was really old post on old forum about Beresteczko arrows, but not about bows.

Anyway
dzienkujem bardzo!

History is only my hobby :)
But ther are some different views and ideas by professional historians from Russia and Poland and Ukraine (both last are more similar especialy concern origin).
Even the etymology of name Cossack has different explanation.
I think that it is hard to tell about Cossacs nation in 13-th century because of political domination of Mongol tribes and before Mongol invasion to. In Estern European steppe before Mongol era ware some nomadic tribes but I think not Cossacks.

In Krakow (Czartoryski Museum) is one bow discrabed as Polish but it is very debatable :P everybody would has own kind of bow, especially historians ;) see typology of sabre for example.
You could looking for a Cuman, Mongol and Crimean Tatar bows or other speppe people north of Black Sea and Caucasus.
