Reattaching a sinew layer?
Is there a good way to reattach a delaminated sinew layer? The second layer of sinew on my bow peeled up from the first on one limb, is there a way to reattach it without stripping off the whole layer?
Thanks,
Evan

The problem is that this may be a symptom of a problem that will come up in other parts of your bow limbs. Normally, re-sinewing whould be done completely on both limbs. If you re-sinew one limb only, you may not be able to control the balance o the bow.
Evan, Stephen is right, deattach the whole sinew- backing and start again.
Don?t forget to degrease the core?s back and to apply a ground- coat with a thin hide- glue- solution.
Everytime when you attach the next sinew- layer ground the foregoing layer.

Alright thanks, I will pull up the whole layer. I think I made some mistakes when laying the second layer of sinew. I didn't ally a ground-coat first.
