Ivory thumbring
I made this thumb ring from ivory...... A kind of highest quality ivory, we called it "bloody ivory". See through it from light, it is pink... The material is cut from a piece of 25 years old stock with licence... It is legal...!
It is 10 times more difficult to make then horn, power tools generate heat could damage the material and the residue stick on the power tool...
the only way is done slowly by hand tool, cause it is very very hard...Also, it takes skill to cut the ivory through permium angle to bring the beautiful texture all out... If not, this precious materiral will go waisted..
I think it is a pretty model,and extermly comfortable when use, here I share with everyone... You can try to make one like that(of caurse, if ivory is not possible, try horn or hard wood) . It proforms pretty well.
