Bow for a new mounted archery fan
Trying to help a friend purchase her first bow for mounted archery. I think she has around 150 British pounds to spend give of take a bit, so around $250 US.
Your suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Quick?s in the UK stock quite affordable Asian style short recurves, prices should range around 100 or even 70 British Pounds. One was the Samick SKB or similar, if I remember correctly, and the cheaper ones were designed for juniors, though I know a woman that use one. I think that using cheaper bows for mounted archery could be a wise precaution considering that falling of the horse or dropping the bow on the ground may be involved.
My friend just purchased a bow from James Parker of Huntwortrhy Productions. He does a really nice bow , sure that she will love it.
Thanx for your suggestions.

Yes, I've got a bunch of take-down horseback archery bows suitable for a beginner. About 140 pounds sterling plus postage. Around 30# draw weight. (Postage should not be too expensive because they are take-down, if you can trust your UK postal service. :)Alan Flashing wrote:
