I tried to download your videos from Youtube by realplayer. But, it didn't work. YT started to protect the intellectural property. So, it is better to upload your lessons on Youku for fans of the Mainland China by yourself, when you have time.
In Taxkorgan, I found the horse breed is similar with Ili horse. But, it looks more strong and vigorous. When we went to Khunjerab Pass, we saw a nomad riding with a suit of horse jacket. It is yellow underlay with red lines, which has two parts: neck and body. It is quite smiliar with the shape of horse armour to the westward of Pamir since Hellenistic to Mungul era. If the blacksmith weave the metal scale on it, it is as same as the armour, which was excavated from Dura-Europos, Syria.
Prof.ZHANG bought a book of Chinese Tajik (now, it is better to call them Sarikol. They don't speak Tajik) folk custom. It says, Sarikol women still keep the tradtion to make the woolen horse jacket. Generally, they use it in the ritual event.
At last, thank you to present wonderful archery wares for our Eurasian Archaeologists, which completely lighted our mind. Personally, I'd like also to thank Adam and Grozer to reconstruct those cultural heritage. Braviii!

Usually Youtube videos can't be downloaded directly. You need to look for Internet sites that offer 'Youtube to MP4' services.
I'm happy those bows have gone 'home' to Turfan. But now we must both work to make sure they don't get 'lost'. I was shocked to see the condition of the storage in the brand new museum. It was chaos. 3000 years of Eurasian history are piled up like firewood in a bin. :x

Yes Stephan.here there are many musuems that have very terrible condition in their inventory and when I get in it's very strange for me that a piece from 5000 hundred years ago is in a very bad condition! :shock:
I'm using the "Download Helper" plugin for Firefox to download and convert videos. Works fine for me.
