thumb ring
Hi all
My mother is an amateur silversmith and she offered to make me a thumb ring, and even though i don't have real experience in shooting with one, it will still be nice to have one.
my question is, what are the aspects i should regard when designing a thumb ring, that is the width ,angle etc...any knowledge concerning this issue will be helpful :)

I suggest that unless it is going to be made of thick, cast silver, you had better plan on lining it with leather. Hammered silver may not make a very good ring. Pay attention to the shape of the hole: oblong, not round.
