Siyah I tried to make.
Noting special I must say. Siyahs are made from wood left over. It is ash if somebody ask about wood.
As you can see on the picture I mark one angle but I don't think that is good angle.
I was inspired by mongol bows that is why siyahs are not bend like in chinese.

First I cut it with saw for metal (saw with fine tooth). After that I use my "joy and pride" bosch hand grinder.
After that I use special tool for hand grinder. It is too fine but live very smooth surface.
This is handle for wester recurve that I made with set of 4 chisels that I brought for 4 euro (near 5$). I overpay them. The tool near handle is piece
of wood with glued sand paper on it. Very good thing. It replace file or rasp.
I have another made of round piece of wood. You can put sand paper with diferent grit. It is also good for chisel sharpening.
