Maybe I don?t understand what you really mean, but it sounds like you are focusing to much.
This is what I call the crisis of the archer, even of very experienced archers.
When exercising archery every now and then I want to do it very perfectly, to control every movement: aiming, drawing, releasing.......and I start to loose control of the whole.
Archery becomes an art if you learn to let it happen and to control it, if these both attitudes are not balanced well you?ll miss.

So it doesn?t matter to much if you can?t see the target very well when there is not to much daylight and there is no need to see the flight of the arrow. To shoot under bad conditions is a very good exercise for to give up control.

Jiao,
Am I right in thinking that you are unable to guage where the arrow has landed and therefore do not know whether you should adjust your aim? When working purely on your form, where the arrow lands is not too important, however when working on your aim (at different distances) it IS important otherwise you are just pumping arrows.
There are ways to help, fletching colour for example. I use white fletchings because they are more visible. A pair of binoculars will help you see your arrows in the target (though I have never used them myself)

Jiao,

Use BRIGHT FEATHER COLORS!

WHITE, YELLOW, FLORESCENT GREEN, FLORESCENT PINK OR ORANGE are all good.

Black, red, brown, green, blue etc are NOT good. Too dark for the eye to pick up very well.

BRIGHT feathers act like 'tracer bullets', so you can see the flight path (like a 'contrail of a jet, as you stated) and tell were your arrows are hitting.

My arrows are fletched with either all WHITE, or all FLORESCENT GREEN.
Here's a pic of my arrow group at 147 meters...

Oh, all right. I put those arrows into the target by hand....

Here is a 'real' arrow group at 15 meters or so. Also shows mix of my fletching colors, FLO GREEN AND WHITE.
